Major, trace elements content, radiogenic isotopes plus thallium isotopes in Taha’a (Society Island) plume.
Abstract:
Tl, Sr, Nd and Pb isotopes plus major and trace elements data in lavas from Taha’a (Society Island). Tl, Sr, Nd and Pb isotopic compositions were measured using a Thermo Neptune multicollector-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS) located in the Plasma Facility at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Major element concentrations (SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, MgO, CaO, MnO, Na2O, K2O, TiO2, P2O5) were determined using the Agilent 5900 ICP-OES system at WHOI. Trace element concentrations were measured using a Thermo Electron iCAP-Q ICPMS at WHOI.
