Abstract:
Replicate-level standard and sample Δ47 data for 16 aragonitic bivalves collected at Beeline Quarry, FL from the Nashua Fm. (Late Pliocene-Early Pleistocene) and an unnamed marine unit that is temporally equivalent to the lower Fort Thompson Fm. (Late Pleistocene). These fossil shells were analyzed to reconstruct water temperatures and δ18Owater compositions on the Plio-Pleistocene Florida Platform. Samples measured in the UM SCIPP lab using a Nu Perspective IRMS with an attached NuCarb automated preparation device.
