Clumped isotope data from coccolith size fraction from sediment cores from the EECO
Abstract:
Supplementary datasets to "Seasonal upper ocean temperatures from coccolith clumped isotopes and a proxy-model comparison for the late Early Eocene Climatic Optimum". There are two datasets, one contains d13C, d18O, and D47 (I-CDES) data from the coccolith size fraction (2-5 and 5-8 μm) derived from filtered sediment core samples from 3 different sites in total that have none, one, or two oxidation steps to test cleaning efficiency. The other dataset contains d13C, d18O, and D47 (I-CDES) data from the coccolith size fraction (2-5 μm) derived from 37 filtered sediment core samples, from 15 different sites in total.
