Abstract:
This dataset presents petrographic observations and geochemical data from a suite of hybrid diorites in the Famatinian Archibarca Pluton, NW Argentina. It includes a synthesized petrographic description, whole-rock major and trace element geochemistry, and mineral chemical data (major and trace elements) for apatite, biotite, hornblende, titanite, quartz, and zircon. The dataset was generated to investigate the role of aqueous fluids in magma hybridization during mingling between a shoshonitic dioritic magma and minor granitic intrusions.
