Abstract:
This dataset integrates zircon U–Pb geochronology, zircon trace-element chemistry, whole-rock lithogeochemistry, platinum-group element (PGE) geochemistry, and apatite-in-zircon compositions from the Xietongmen and Dazi igneous suites in southern Tibet. The measurements were obtained to investigate the magmatic evolution and metal fertility of these arc-related systems. The data provide constraints on magma differentiation processes, volatile evolution, and sulfide saturation conditions. The purpose of the dataset is to identify the primary controls on metal fertility in coeval but compositionally distinct magmatic suites. This data contains all supplementary materials associated with the manuscript: Magmatic Differentiation, Volatile Budget, and Sulfide Saturation of the Xietongmen and Dazi Igneous Suites, Southern Tibet: Implications for Arc Magma Fertility.
