Compiled data to select FOZO- and HIMU-type OIBs and calculated data to estimate the recycling ages of oceanic crusts

Abstract:
This is a dataset for the selection of FOZO- and HIMU-type OIBs, including 87Sr/86Sr, 143Nd/144Nd, 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb, 208Pb/204Pb and 3He/4He in ocean island basalts (OIBs). The data were taken from Stracke et al. (2022) and were downloaded from the GEOROC database (https://georoc.eu). The individual sources of OIB isotopic compositions are listed in each table. The 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb of FOZO- and HIMU-type OIBs were renormalized with the single set of SRM 981 values reported by Taylor et al. (2015). The data set also includes bulk oceanic crust compositions before and after subduction modification modeled based on data reported by Gale et al. (2013) and an equation described by Shimoda and Kogiso (2019). Furthermore, the chemical and isotopic compositions of DMM modeled based on Workman and Hart (2005) are presented. The probability density of the calculated recycling ages of oceanic crusts and He concentrations of DMM in each hotspot are also included in the dataset.
