Abstract:
This dataset included new compositional data for clinopyroxene as well as grain size measurements for both clinopyroxene and magnetite grains. This data is to understand how growth processes affect olivine composition. We studied a skeletal phenocryst from the Yangyuan continental alkaline basalt, indicating rapid growth. The dataset includes whole-rock and updated mineral major, minor, and trace elements data for Yangyuan alkaline basalt YY51.
