Abstract:
This dataset describes the method used to collect plagioclase trace element analyses in the W.M. Keck Collaboratory for Plasma Spectrometry at Oregon State University using an Applied Spectra RESOlution ArF Excimer laser system connected to a ThermoFisher Scientific iCAP-RQ ICP-MS. Analytes include Li, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Fe, Sr, Ba, La, Ce, Eu, and Pb. Plagioclase were analyzed along transects using 5-by-50-micron spots, with the long side perpendicular to the transect, and 5-micron spacing between spot centers.
