Abstract:
The dataset includes bulk rock and single sulphides composition of pyroxenites and peridotites from External Liguride mantle sequences (Northern Apennine, Italy). Major elements composition of sulphides were collected using the Electron Probe Micro-Analyzer (EPMA) at the Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra “Ardito Desio”, University of Milano, Italy. Osmium concentrations and isotopic compositions (i.e. 187Os/188Os ratios) were measured using a Thermo-Finnigan Triton N-TIMS at the NCIET (Northern Centre for Isotopic and Elemental Tracing), Department of Earth Sciences, University of Durham. Iridium, Pt, Pd and Re concentrations were analyzed using the Thermo Finnigan Element 2 ICP-MS at the Institut für Geowissenschaften of the University of Bonn.
