Geochemical and geochronological dataset for Neoproterozoic igneous from the Jinping Complex, southwestern Yangtze Block, China
Abstract:
This collection contains comprehensive geochemical and geochronological data for Neoproterozoic granitoid samples from the Jinping Complex, Ailaoshan region, southwestern Yangtze Block, China. The dataset includes:
(1) LA-ICP-MS analytical methods for zircon U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotopes;
(2) EPMA analytical methods for mineral chemistry;
(3) whole-rock major element, trace element, and Sr-Nd isotopic data;
(4) in-situ zircon U-Pb geochronological data and Lu-Hf isotopic data;
(5) EPMA mineral chemistry data for feldspar, biotite, and muscovite.
Data support the interpretation of Neoproterozoic arc magmatism and crustal
evolution in the southwestern Yangtze Block.
