Abstract:
This dataset provides high-precision electron microprobe analyses (EPMA) of a single skeletal olivine crystal from the Yangyuan alkaline basalt. It comprises multiple concentration profiles traversing the crystal, intended to elucidate the crystal's disequilibrium crystallization behavior. A key focus is the characterization of intra-crystal heterogeneities in nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), and phosphorus (P) distributions at the single-crystal scale, which are critical for deciphering magmatic processes.
