Major and trace element composition of silicate and oxide phases from nephelinite-hosted garnet-spinel peridotite xenoliths from Paraúna, Goiás Alkaline Province, central Brazil
Abstract:
This dataset contains EPMA major element and ICP-MS trace element data from garnet-spinel peridotite xenoliths from the Goiás Alkaline Province, in central Brazil. The xenolith suite consists of lherzolite, harzburgite and wehrlite xenoliths, of which are hosted by a nephelinite volcanic plug in Paraúna, Goiás state. This dataset consists of in situ major and trace element data of olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene, garnet, spinel, phlogopite and pargasite, as well as reaction products, like K-richterite, aspidolite, Ti-magnetite, aluminoceladonite, nepheline, chlorite and analcime.
