Chronological and geochemical data of Late Paleoproterozoic Khondalite Belt in the North China Craton from the Wulashan Magmatic Complex, Gongmiaozi area
Abstract:
This dataset presents whole-rock geochemical, zircon U-Pb geochronological, and zircon Lu-Hf isotopic data from metamorphosed magmatic rocks in the Gongmiaozi area, central Paleoproterozoic Khondalite Belt, North China Craton. Samples include granodioritic gneiss, amphibolite, biotite monzonitic granite, fine-grained granite, and syenogranite, with crystallization ages ranging from ~2.0 Ga to ~1.85 Ga. Geochemical and isotopic data reveal distinct petrogenetic origins and magmatic evolution processes, supporting a two-stage Paleoproterozoic tectonic evolution in the belt: ~2.0 Ga arc-related magmatism during oceanic subduction, followed by ~1.96 Ga extension induced by slab break-off, and final post-collisional extension recorded by ~1.85 Ga syenogranite.
