Major element compositions of olivine and exsolved pyroxene from the Purang mantle peridotites, Tibet
Abstract:
The samples are harzburgites collected from the Purang County area, located in the central segment of the southern sub-zone of the Yarlung-Zangbo ophiolitic belt. The dataset comprises in-situ major element compositions of olivine, as well as major element compositions of clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene. The purpose is to calculate the pressure and temperature of pyroxene exsolution, with implications for deep mantle evolution.
