Representative chemical analyses for the mineralogy of the GCB using high precision EPMA
Abstract:
Representative chemical analyses for the mineralogy of the GCB, the examined highly metasomatized rock from the Proterozoic mobile belt, Central Indian Tectonic Zone, India. Representative oxygen basis are given in the table. Mineral abbreviations are used after Warr (2021). Cation calculations have been done following the procedure of Grew (1984). Nearly homogeneous major element chemistry of the matrix garnet and coarse vein garnets implies stable physical conditions i.e., computed pressure-temperature path, even in the presence of metasomatic fluid.
