Abstract:
This dataset presents geochemical data for depleted gabbronorite dikes, gabbro/dolerite dikes, and serpentinized harzburgites from the Purang ophiolite, western Yarlung-Zangbo Suture, Tibet, China. It includes whole-rock major and trace elements, mineral major elements, and clinopyroxene trace elements. These data constrain the origin of strongly depleted gabbronoritic magmas and reveal multistage melt-mantle interactions beneath a magma-starved spreading center.
