Abstract:
The dataset comprises zircon U–Pb geochronology (SIMS and LA–ICP–MS) and Hf–O isotopic compositions (LA–MC–ICP–MS and SIMS, respectively), whole-rock major element (XRF), trace element (ICP–MS), and Sr–Nd–Hf isotopic compositions (MC–ICP–MS), together with feldspar and clinopyroxene major element compositions (EPMA) from Late Mesozoic volcanic rocks in the Fengning–Duolun area, North China Craton. These data were used to elucidate the role of subduction processes in modulating the scale, geochemical characteristics, and sources of continental volcanism.
