Abstract:
Major (SEM-EDX) and trace element (LA-ICP-MS) compositions of phases in garnet harzburgites and exsolved orthopyroxenes from Bultfontein kimberlite (Kimberley, Kaapvaal) and bulk compositions (XRF, mass balance) of both sample types. Lu-Hf data (MC-ICP-MS) for garnet from both harzburgite and exsolved orthopyroxene. Data collected for study of silica enrichment in Archaean mantle.
