Abstract:
Reprocessed replicate-level standard and sample Δ47 data for 24 aragonitic bivalves collected at Beeline Quarry, FL from the Nashua Fm. (Late Pliocene-Early Pleistocene) and an unnamed marine unit that is temporally equivalent to the lower Fort Thompson Fm. (Late Pleistocene). In contrast to the first version of this dataset, these data were reprocessed using the secondary window-specific offset correction following the approach of Quizon et al. (2025). These fossil shells were analyzed to reconstruct water temperatures and ancient δ18Owater values on the Plio-Pleistocene Florida Platform. Samples measured in the UM SCIPP lab using a Nu Perspective IRMS with an attached NuCarb automated preparation device.
