Mineral chemistry of samples from the Barra Velha Formation, Santos Basin, subjected to contact metamorphism v.2
Abstract:
The data presented here are products of mineral chemistry analyses obtained from electron microprobe (EMP - JEOL JXA-FE 8530F) at the Central Multi-User GeoAnalítica-USP Electron Microprobe Laboratory, University of São Paulo. These analyses were performed on marbles from contacts adjacent to diabase sills in the Mero Field, Santos Basin, well 3-BRSA-1322-RJS. Accordingly, crystals of calcite, phlogopite, pyroxene, and olivine were analyzed. This Version 2.0 update adds electron microprobe mineral chemistry analyses for brucite that were not included in the original release.
