Abstract:
This dataset contains whole-rock major- and trace-element geochemical analyses of plutonic rocks emplaced during the Late Cretaceous–Paleocene (ca. 79–60 Ma) magmatic flare-up in the North Cascades continental arc, Washington, USA. The data include samples from multiple plutonic systems and are used to evaluate magmatic differentiation and temporal and spatial variations in geochemical proxies for crustal thickness, particularly primitive mantle-normalized (La/Yb)ₙ ratios. Combined with high-precision U-Pb zircon geochronology, these data provide constraints on magma emplacement, crustal thickening, and the evolution of magmatic flux during the flare-up.
