Abstract:
Our data set includes noble gas data for one mid-ocean ridge basalt glass, the popping rock 2𝜋D43. We measured high-precise elemental and isotopic noble gas ratios (He, Ne, Ar, Ke, Xe abundances as well as He, Ne, Ar, Xe isotopic ratios) with step-crushing. We used an efficient heavy noble gas separation protocol as well as a dedicated high-resolution noble gas mass spectrometer, the Noblesse-HR 5F5M.
