Abstract:
This dataset contains clumped isotope thermometry measurements for marine mollusks from Pipsico Scout Reservation, Virginia, US. These shells are dated roughly to the Miocene (Cobham Bay Member of the Eastover Formation) and Pliocene (Sunken Meadow Member of the Yorktown Formation). The purpose of this dataset is to understand how these shells can record changes in seasonality and ocean currents.
